This Privacy Policy explains how GLYRA ("we", "app", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS or Android application.
By using GLYRA, you agree to the practices in this policy.
1. Our Core Privacy Commitment
GLYRA is designed with a privacy-first architecture. All health and tracking data you enter is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers that collect, receive, transmit, or store your personal health information. The only exception is subscription management, which is handled through RevenueCat as described in Section 4.
2. Information We Collect
When you use GLYRA, the following types of information may be stored locally on your device:
GLP-1 Medication Tracking
- Medication name or brand (e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, or compound/generic equivalents)
- Dosage and injection or dose dates
- Injection site rotation records
- Upcoming dose reminders and schedules
Health & Wellness Data
- Body weight and related progress measurements
- Nutritional intake (calories, protein, fiber, water)
- Symptoms and side effects you choose to log
- Exercise, sleep, and other wellness habits
Progress Photos (if applicable)
The App includes a progress photo feature, photos are accessed from your device camera or photo library solely to display them within the App. Photos are stored entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
All of the above data remains on your device under your control at all times. We cannot access it, and it is not transmitted to us.
Subscription Metadata
To manage paid subscriptions in the App, RevenueCat receives limited purchase and entitlement metadata, such as:
- Anonymous app user identifier
- Subscription status and entitlement state
- Basic platform and app version information
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data described above to:
- Power the App's core tracking and reminder features
- Develop and maintain the App's subscription experience
- Respond to your support requests and communicate important updates
- Process your subscription through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
We do not sell your personal information or health data to third parties. We do not use your health data for advertising.
4. Subscription Management
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status within the App. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier, subscription and entitlement state, transaction-related metadata, and basic platform information solely to validate purchases and determine which features are unlocked. RevenueCat does not receive your health data, medication records, tracking entries, symptoms, nutrition logs, or notes. It operates under its own privacy policy available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
5. What We Do NOT Collect or Share
Regardless of the limited subscription processing described above, GLYRA does not:
- Collect, transmit, or store your health or tracking data on any server
- Collect your payment details.
- Send health data, medication records, symptoms, weight, nutrition, or notes to any third-party subscription, analytics, or diagnostics service
- Sell your personal information or health data to any third party
- Use your health data for advertising or marketing purposes
- Share your data with data brokers, insurers, or employers
- Track you across other apps or websites
- Require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the App
6. Data Security
All data you enter in GLYRA is stored locally on your device.
Because we do not receive your data on any server, there is no central database of your health information that could be breached.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Health Data: Because all data is stored on your device, you have full control over it at all times:
- Delete individual entries: You can remove any specific log entries from within the App.
- Clear all data: You can delete all app data through the App's settings.
- Delete the App: Uninstalling GLYRA removes all app data stored on your device.
If you have enabled iCloud Backup on your device, your device backups may include app data as part of your standard iCloud backup. You can manage or disable this in your device Settings.
Subscription records: retained as required for billing, tax, and legal compliance purposes (typically up to 5 years).
8. Children's Privacy
GLYRA is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the App and that health data may be at risk, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Your health and tracking data is stored locally on your device. We do not hold it on any server, so we cannot provide or delete it on your behalf - it is entirely under your control.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights related to your personal data, such as accessing, updating, or transferring it. You can manage many choices through the App. To make a request, please contact us at support@glyraapp.com.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we will notify you via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
